Oh my I just have to let you know about a fantastic idea for a night out ideal for hen parties or different take on girlie night out.
I was in Bacchanala on Saturday in Manchester, (15-17 Chapel Walks (off King Street) when a gaggle of girls walked in and went straight round the other side of the bar. Not one to miss out I asked the bar man what was going on. He explained they were taking apart in cocktail party. You can spend the afternoon learning to make and shake the cocktails. The staff will talk you through the history of the cocktails demonstrating their flair and showing you what to do - and best of all you get to drink the lot.

The other week I went to Chester and as usual, ended up in the Revolution Bar. There are 65 bars around the country at the time of writing so there’s bound to be one near you. If you’ve never visited one, then you really should go, just don’t do what I did.
Chester has plenty of bars but this is a great place to finish up. Just take a look at their great vodka flavour menu - almost every flavour you could want, and plenty you wouldn’t.
Never let someone else choose the flavour you’re going to drink - especially via text messages, I wouldn’t recommend it, and don’t drink as much as we did. For every flavour shot we had, we also had a vodka and coke to go with it. We drank around 6 rounds - this was after already visiting eleven other bars and drinking 12 other vodka and cokes. I can’t remember all the flavours, but I distinctly remember After Eight, Milky Bar, Mango & Pineapple, Milk Chocolate, Strawberry and Raspberry.
The hangover was not good and I’ve been off drink ever since. In fact, I hope you appreciate the effort I’m going to in writing this article because I still feel sick thinking about it. I’m sure my liver is not thanking me. Tonight, I’m going back on the drink, but gently. Never, ever again am I drinking to this extreme… I have said that before albeit several years ago, but this time I mean it. I think…
